Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different strains of Bradyrhizobium on the growth and development of bean macunde (Vigna unguiculata L.) leaf under the edaphoclimatic conditions of the experimental farm of the FCA. An essay in field conditions was mounted in randomized blocks with three replications, using five treatments (T1-bean-macunde + N + P2O5 + K2O; T2-bean-macunde + P2O5 + K2O; T3–bean-macunde + R55 + P2O5 + K2O; T4-bean-macunde + R63 + P2O5 + K2O; T5-bean-macunde USDA3384 + P2O5 + K2O). Plant height were evaluated, stem diameter, number of nodes, fresh and dry weight of nodules, discoloration of nodules, fresh weight and shoot dry and number of leaves. The experimental data were subjected to analysis of variance and correlation, using the statistical analysis program INFOSTAT and means were compared by Tukey test (p <0,05). Interests to emphasize that generally the Bradyrhizobium R63 strain showed better results in all variables compared with Bradyrhizobium USDA3384 and Bradyrhizobium R55 strains. These results showed that the Bradyrhizobium R63 strain showed greater effectiveness on the nodulation and consequently better effect on growth and development of bean macunde in edaphoclimatic conditions of the Experimental Farm FCA, in Ngongoinga. Key-words: Bean macunde, FBN, Bradyrhizobium, nodulation. ?
