| Abstract |
The objective of this investigation was to obtain, by means of fuzzy logic, a spatial model for the soil aptitude in the city of Luanda based on two parameters: lithology and slope. Favourable areas for civil constructions were identified (urban infrastructures and roads) and sectors with differentiated behaviour that can pose a risk, requiring a territorial planning. The model establishes the directions for the preparation of the geotechnical map for the city of Luanda, which is a helpful instrument for the territorial planning.
