| Abstract |
This is a brief summary that consists of a book of abstracts of the XVIIC Congress of Entomology. Angola has one of the highest biodiversity in Africa, with approximately 3550 species/subspecies of beetles registered until now. Between 2014 and 2015 fieldwork was carried out resulting in the capture of beetles through direct observation, moth, chromotropic, light and traps. The study of part of this material resulted in the identification of several species of the family Caribadae, some of them representing genera amd species previously unknown from Angola.
