Abstract
JAMS is a pure Java Open-Source software framework that allows to build and apply modular environmental simulation models. Originally developed as a platform for eco-hydrological modelling, JAMS comes with a large variety of process-based hydrological simulation components that form the basis of the J2000 model family. JAMS-based models have successfully been applied to simulate hydrological, nutrient-transport and erosion processes around the world.
